The Vaultek LifePod SIG Edition Biometric Safe is a tried-and-true, intensely tested portable pistol safe that you can rely on. This SIG SAUER safe fits handguns up to 7.75″ long. You can access the safe quickly through multiple methods. The touch-activated keypad accepts 48-digit codes. This version of the LifePod SIG Edition also features a biometric scanner for even faster entry into the safe. The built-in lock system has an anti-lockpick feature that disables the front keyway. This portable case is powered by a 9V battery (not included) and lasts for about a year with a full battery. If the battery should die during your travels, you can use the hidden micro-USB port to power your case so you can still have access to its contents. If you choose not to power the safe, it can still act as a water-resistant case. The safe locks and seals shut thanks to an anti-impact dual-latch design and inner rubber gasket. This system creates a seal that makes the safe airtight, dustproof, and able to float. It’s made of drop-tested T3 polymer housing built to last. This safe is TSA-compliant.
