This handgun safe opens by entering a 38 digital code on the 12-digit key pad. The code is easily changed with a reset button, and a secure hidden key override serves for backup. The Bulldog Personal Digital Fire-Resistant Pistol Vault is constructed of steel with a powder coated matte finish; and closes with two 3/4″ steel locking bolts on the door. A heat-activated door seal provides 30 minutes of fire protection at 1,400. Full carpeted interior guards your handgun from dings and scratches. The handgun safe runs on 4 AA batteries (not included) and a battery-power indicator warns you before batteries lose power. The safe is predrilled on the bottom and back for mounting, and comes with mounting hardware.
